In gratitude to the food service industry
The Washington State Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
Due to COVID-19, thousands of Washingtonians employed in the food service industry are facing a dire financial circumstance: job loss with uncertainty of a job on the horizon.
For years our founder, Tammy, waitressed her way through college and single-motherhood. She’s one of millions of people – across generations – that the restaurant industry has been pivotal for. Whether it’s their first job, a stepping stone to get through college, or a career in hospitality.
We like to call ourselves foodies – we’ve enjoyed delicious meals all over the world and right here in our own backyard, the beautiful Evergreen State of Washington. But are we really foodies if we aren’t supporting the very people who have provided us with smiles, drinks and those delicious meals when they need us most?
In gratitude to the food service industry, we are launching the Washington State Restaurant Employee Relief Fund in an effort to help support restaurant employees who have been affected by the pandemic, right here in our home state.
Funds raised will cover bills for restaurant employees who work in Washington. Upon availability of funds, we will begin distribution immediately. Funds will be paid directly to the bill company.
Hit the donate button below to make an immediate donation. If you would like to make a donation via check, please contact us at relief@anonymously-yours.org
We also encourage the purchasing of gift cards to your favorite restaurant to use at a later date and ordering from restaurants able to stay open via takeout and delivery services.
From the foodies in us, to the foodie in you, and all the foodies we’ll help in the months to come: thank you.
