Initiative 1: Foundry Partnership
In 2023 we pioneered a thoughtful and realistic approach to entrepreneurship that stands out in the landscape of startup incubation: The Entrepreneur Academy. Our unique ``Idea to Founder`` model is meticulously designed not just to cultivate startups, but to forge the next generation of innovative leaders. After successful cohorts with South Puget Sound Community College and Saint Martin's University, we've partnered with Foundry, a public benefit company with the capacity to replicate the Entrepreneur Academy across the country while we focus on supporting students and projects.
Through Foundry, we partner with colleges, accelerators, and community organizations to find promising projects and entrepreneurs where the capital ventures aren’t looking. The Spark Fund provides micro-grants, education funding, and access to startup resources, helping students in Foundry’s “Entrepreneur Academies” access early capital, mentorship, and startup support – turning classroom learning into real-world companies.
Students who complete our year-long program walk away with more than an education: they earn founders shares and an invitation to continue working for the company. Every contribution to the Spark Fund helps light a new path toward innovation, empowerment, and shared success.
